DJ Trax + Nucleus Present Catch a Groove!

I am pleased to announce that myself (Trax) and Nucleus will be hosting a new Biweekly show on Jungletrain. The first show will be aired on Wednesday the 11th of January from 8-10pm. We will be representing many styles of Drum + Bass and Jungle. From Oldskool right through to unreleased Dubs.

The first show was a great success!

DJ Trax + Assorted Anonymous Transmission Intercepted Pt2

Audio Buffet presents Transmission Intercepted Part 2.

Earlier this year the label released Transmission 01 and 02. The EP`s introduced the collaboration between DJ Trax and US Hip Hop group Assorted Anonymous.

Following on from Transmission Intercepted part 1 (released last month) four more artists offer their interpretations of the Transmission EP`s.

The remixers who feature on part two are;

The advantage of releasing the EP`s on Audio Buffet is that the label represents underground music right across the spectrum. As a result I was able to give the artists complete creative freedom and as expected none of the artists disappoint!

The EP is beautifully mastered by Arjun Demeyere.

Audio Buffet presents Transmission Intercepted Part 1.

Transmission Intercepted PT1 is the first of two remix EP`s.
Although most of the artists on remix duties are known more for their Drum and Bass productions, they all produce various styles of music.

DJ Trax + Assorted Anonymous Transmission 02(Free EP)

DJ Trax + Assorted Anonymous return with another FREE EP courtesy of Audio Buffet.

Hot on the heels of Transmission 01, Transmission 02 continues to explore the collaboration between Uk producer DJ Trax and US Hip Hop crew Assorted Anonymous.

Dj Trax has been releasing records since 1991. He writes many different styles from laid back/downbeat music to Drum and Bass. However his first love is Hip Hop. Drumming at age 7, Breaking at 11 and DJing from 13 Trax started early and continues to write cutting edge music.

Assorted Anonymous are a group of three very talented rappers who are making waves on the US underground Hip Hop scene. Their masked performances reflect their `anti-ego` philosophy. This Michigan based crew are constantly developing their skills and have a rapidly growing fan base.

As with Transmission 01, the EP was created entirely over the internet. Trax wrote the music in his Essex based studio and AA have recorded the Vocals in the US. The tracks were formed through the exchange of digital recordings. Transmission 02 marks the second of many Releases from this unique collaboration.

DJ Trax Feat Kj Sawka `All else is unreal`on Absys Records

The track `All else is unreal` will feature on the album Mystical Deep on Absys Records.

The title says it all – it’s gonna be deep, it’s gonna be mystical and one time it’s gonna make you sink in your armchair, another time you’re gonna bounce frantically to the rhythm of broken beats. Day To Night Mix

Sometimes there is nothing better than just hitting record and seeing where a mix takes you…

Day To Night opens with a beautiful track from the up and coming producer Gerwin. The mix takes you on a 40 minute journey through the many moods and styles of DnB. It closes with a track from Enjoy, who is definitely a name to watch in the future.

Set Menu Volume 1

Audio Buffet are proud to present the first EP in a series.

Set Menu Volume 1 is very much true to the labels ethos, with each track representing a different style.

First up is a the down-tempo workout Opening Shot, the track features the amazing drumwork of KJ Sawka and is tweaked to perfection by Trax.

Lightless Boss Fanu steps up and remixes Opening Shot taking it deep, dark and atmospheric.

The Third track on the EP,  Depth Of Field is a deep, midtempo, brokenbeat piece with detroit inspired sounds and is the first ever collaboration between Trax + Nucleus, who have been Djing and promoting nights together for the last 20 years.

Trax Completes the EP with a Drum + Bass remix of Depth of Field, Building on the sounds and mood of the original with added vocals and his trademark beats.
